This was the view from my window seat as we flew into Narita (one of the Tokyo airports). After 13 hours and 30 minutes on the plane, we touched down in the Land of the Rising Sun. And it wasn't until much later that we actually stepped outside into fresh air in Kyoto after taking another 3 hour bullet train ride. And yes, that puppy was FAST.

JAPAN!
